Towards the Modernisation of Higher Education Institutions in Uzbekistan

The project aims to build the so-called “Knowledge Triangle: Education – Innovation – Research”, focusing on cooperation between universities, the business sector and public authorities, while providing dedicated support to higher education institutions in Uzbekistan.

Kielce Technology Park is responsible for providing expert support for the establishment of three science and technology parks at universities in Bukhara, Namangan and Tashkent. Each university will also establish a Knowledge Transfer Office, with its concept and business plan being developed as part of the project.

The project also includes a series of training sessions for representatives of the academic and business communities in Uzbekistan. The training will cover topics such as technology transfer, public-private partnerships (PPP), research projects and business incubation.
