Digital Security for Young Entrepreneurs (DiFens)

Digital Security for Young Entrepreneurs (DiFens) is a project in the field of digital education. Kielce Technology Park, in partnership with organisations from Cyprus, Slovenia, Bulgaria and Greece, developed the project to address issues such as the role of the Internet in everyday life and business activity, as well as the related risks and threats.

The DiFens project is aimed at pupils and students as potential entrepreneurs, startups, as well as youth workers, teachers and university lecturers.

The project partners will create an international knowledge base covering issues related to online security. They will also organise a series of training sessions for teachers and lecturers on topics such as legal aspects of digital security, online risk assessment, cybercrime and business digitalisation.

Mentoring and online training will also be provided to startups and young people planning to start their own businesses. The project will additionally include dissemination activities such as DiFens Information Days, a conference and a promotional video.

As part of the project, the DiFens e-handbook has already been developed. It serves as a practical guide presenting digital security issues in an innovative and accessible way, including legal aspects, cybersecurity, digital security risk assessment and business digitalisation. The publication has been prepared in both Polish and English.
