Digital Innovation Hub KPTS StartUp

Short project name: DIH KPT StartUp
Project title: Digital Innovation Hub KPT StartUp
Project duration: 10 months (1 March 2019 – 31 December 2019)
Programme: Digital Innovation Hubs Enhanced Learning Programme under HORIZON 2020 (EUC)

DIH KPT StartUp is a project selected for implementation under a call aimed at establishing a Digital Innovation Hub – a consortium supporting companies in the digitalisation process, including the introduction of innovative digital solutions. The project is implemented under the Digital Innovation Hubs Enhanced Learning Programme (DIHELP).

DIHELP aims to develop a consistent approach to supporting companies in their pursuit of innovation across EU Member States at regional level by offering a coaching and mentoring programme for Digital Innovation Hubs (DIHs). The support includes coaching in business development, financial management and innovation management, delivered both through face-to-face meetings and remotely. As an outcome of the programme, a sector-specific business plan will be developed for the DIH to support the digital transformation of companies in the region.

Digital Innovation Hub KPT StartUp (DIH KPT StartUp) is a partnership designed to help companies strengthen their market competitiveness through the implementation of innovative solutions in the broadly defined field of digital technologies.

DIH KPT StartUp will provide companies in the region with comprehensive access to the latest knowledge, expertise and technologies, including technological, engineering and measurement infrastructure, enabling them to test and implement digital innovations tailored to their products, processes and business models. It will also support entrepreneurs in accessing financing for digital transformation projects and facilitate cooperation between technology providers and users.

The DIH KPT StartUp partnership comprises six entities from the public and private sectors, combining business and technological expertise. Its main objective is to provide startups with comprehensive support through a broad range of services.

DIH KPT StartUp will support companies at every stage of their development – from the initial innovative idea through to the commercialisation of an MVP – including those seeking further financing.
