Green Thinking Entrepreneur Youth
Green Thinking Entrepreneur Youth is another project implemented by Kielce Technology Park within an international consortium and financed under the Erasmus+ Programme.
Climate change is currently one of the greatest global challenges. The actions we take today will have a major impact on what the world will look like in 10, 20 or 50 years.
The Green Thinking project is addressed to young people, teachers, young entrepreneurs, as well as residents of the regions represented by the project partners. Its main objective is to build and strengthen environmental and climate awareness, including through the promotion of green energy and the benefits associated with its use.
The project also aims to encourage the creation of companies and, consequently, new jobs in areas related to green entrepreneurship. One of the key measures supporting these objectives will be the establishment of so-called Green Thinking Centres. These centres will serve as platforms for discussion on climate change and for promoting and strengthening environmental awareness. They will also support cooperation on innovations in the green economy and the implementation of environmentally friendly solutions in businesses.
The project will deliver three main outputs:
-
Climate and Environmental Research Reports – analyses of the current situation and an attempt to assess the impact of solutions developed under the project on environmental and climate-related issues in the partner countries.
-
Green Entrepreneurship Handbook – a set of guidelines for young entrepreneurs on “green thinking”, focusing on how to operate within the green economy, how to create and develop green jobs, what skills are required in environmentally responsible businesses, and how to address issues related to waste and waste management. The handbook will also address ethical values in business activity and environmental education.
-
Online Platform with Ready-to-Use Resources – a collection of practical materials such as lesson scenarios, videos, games and courses that can be used by teachers during classes, workshops and training sessions. These resources will help teachers deliver engaging and meaningful formal and non-formal education on green entrepreneurship.
Importantly, the solutions developed within the project will be available free of charge to everyone interested in the future of our planet.
