Construction of the California Inc. Incubator

The Municipality of Kielce has been awarded funding from the European Regional Development Fund for the implementation of the project “Expansion of the KPT Technology Incubator Complex – Construction of the California Inc. Incubator” under the European Funds for Świętokrzyskie 2021–2027 Programme.

The project entitled “Expansion of the KPT Technology Incubator Complex – Construction of the California Inc. Incubator” involves the development of attractive and functional infrastructure in the form of an office building with more than 15,000 m² of usable floor area, providing high-quality space for companies whose growth will be supported through innovation-oriented advisory services. The project constitutes a comprehensive business support programme covering the entire development path – from the initial business idea to scaling operations in international markets.

As part of the project, Class A office space, as well as commercial and service premises, will be developed to fully meet the needs of future users, including residents of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship and entrepreneurs constituting the project’s target group. The building will offer flexible space arrangements that can be adapted to the individual requirements of companies and will include the necessary supporting infrastructure, such as conference rooms, staff facilities, storage areas and auxiliary spaces.

The planned conference facilities will provide essential infrastructure for networking and fostering cooperation between tenant companies and other entities, thereby contributing to the development and strengthening of the regional innovation ecosystem. In addition, the project provides for spaces enhancing the multifunctional character of the facility, including food service and commercial premises, as well as an underground car park ensuring comprehensive parking facilities for tenants and conference guests, together with auxiliary and technical rooms.

The project also takes environmental requirements into account. The building will therefore comply with the Do No Significant Harm (DNSH) principle and the requirements of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive.

A key element of the project, demonstrating its comprehensive and innovative approach to supporting businesses, is not only the provision of modern, high-quality infrastructure with dedicated networking areas, but also the simultaneous delivery of innovation-oriented advisory services designed to enable companies to grow rapidly and dynamically.

Tenant companies will therefore receive expert support in the areas of strategic consulting, internationalisation mentoring, digital maturity assessment, and advisory services related to the use of artificial intelligence in business processes.
