Shake-up Start-ups – Entrepreneurship among Young People
Kielce Technology Park received funding for the implementation of the “Shake-up Start-ups” project, financed by the European Commission under the Erasmus+ Programme.
The project, led by Kielce Technology Park, was implemented until the end of 2016 in partnership with the Education by the Internet Association, the Croatian development agency Lokalna razvojna agencija PINS from Skrad, and the Latvian association Biedriba “Radosas Idejas” from Balvi.
The project aims to promote entrepreneurship education among young people. It provides young people and future entrepreneurs with an opportunity to develop and refine their business ideas through workshops organised with youth workers, institutions operating in the youth sector, non-governmental organisations, investors, business trainers and other stakeholders.
The project supports the development not only of basic professional and interpersonal skills, but also of transversal competences such as digital skills, multilingualism and creativity.
The main result of the project will be the development and testing, with a group of young people, of a non-formal entrepreneurship academy methodology designed to promote a broad range of skills and encourage learning through real-life experience.
The innovative nature of the project lies in the fact that it is not limited to developing a single methodology. The outcome will be a replicable programme and framework that can be used by other non-governmental organisations, schools, higher education institutions and other organisations for future entrepreneurship education activities.
The “Shake-up Start-ups” project is co-financed by the European Commission under the Erasmus+ Programme.
