KTP has received funding for the creation of startups
Kielce Technology Park will create Platform Startup, institutution supporting start-ups. The money for this purpose almost 8 million obtained from the Operational Programme of Eastern Poland.
- For us it is very good news, we are delighted that once again Kielce Technology Park will be able to support young entrepreneurs. With this project, in Kielce may arise and be realized new projects - says the president of Kielce Wojciech Lubawski. Received funding will support 70 subject. Authors of the best business ideas will receive comprehensive support. Starting with the development of an idea into a company, on financing ending.
Director KPT Szymon Mazurkiewicz underlines that each of the actors will be supported individually. Grants can reach up to 800 thousand zlotych. Incubation program will take 10 months.
- The aim of this project is to keep young people in the region, as well as to create conditions for them to development. Animator starting platform will be Kielce Technology Park. Partners who will provide incubation services for companies such startup with KTP it a.o. Regional Development Agency Center - Podkarpacki Science and Technology Park "Aeropolis".
The project partner is also Academic Incubators of Entrepreneurship, which will be responsible for promoting the project. Around the starting platform has created an ecosystem that supports entrepreneurship in the region of Eastern Poland which includes: The Jan Kochanowski University, University of Rzeszow, Uniwersytet Jana Kochanowskiego w Kielcach, Uniwersytet Rzeszowski, School of Computer Science and Management in Rzeszów, VIVE Textile Recycling, INFOVER, Association FutureHub ICT Cluster, FundingBox Accelerator Sp. z o.o., Business Angels Network PROSHARE Sp. z o.o., Association of Entrepreneurs of the aviation industry ,,Dolina Lotnicza" from Rzeszow, Regional Chamber of Commerce from Stalowa Wola, Chamber of Commerce CIRCLE OF HEALTH TOURISM and Seed fund of KTP. The actions of the ecosystem of startups platforms will be supported also by the Local Government Units of Kielce, Rzeszów, Stalowa Wola and Kolbusz, and Kielce Trade Fairs.
Funds for similar projects also received Bialystok Park of Science and Technology - and Lublin Science and Technology Park.
