Kielce Technology Park’s investments

The construction of a 22-storey building which will offer premises for start-ups, providing new media to a dozen of hectares of land as well as the cooperation with investors from Canada in the construction of a medical clinic are only some of the plans of the Kielce Technology Park.

The Park’s employees are preparing a proposal to the Marshal's Office, which involves obtaining funding for providing the media for the land acquired by the city for the KTP.

- We want to prepare these areas for the needs of investors. Today we know that the interest is high. The construction of a plant by Marbach company is just about to be completed and soon we hope to start new investments, says Szymon Mazurkiewicz, director of the Kielce Technology Park.

He adds that the discussions on the construction of a medical clinic in Olszewskiego street are ongoing. An entrepreneur from Canada is interested in investing in this part of the city. As pointed out by Szymon Mazurkiewicz creating conditions for the development of start-ups would be an important element of the Park’s development. The KTP is attempting to obtain funding for this purpose.

- We want to encourage young people to stay in Kielce and to make sure that they will be able to find job in this city after they complete their university studies. We also want to attract entrepreneurs from all over the country to settle in the capital of the Świętokrzyski region. Hence the idea to develop the area of the former Chemar company, adds Szymon Mazurkiewicz.

At the next meeting, one of the resolutions will refer to the purchase of a building of that company for the needs of the KTP. The institution will thus realize the plans of the city authorities. At the same time the Municipal Road Administration will start equipping the neighbouring areas for the purpose of a construction of a new road from Olszewskiego street to Zagnańska and Witosa streets. Thanks to the realization of the tasks up to 1 thousand new work places will be created.
