Special Economic Zone

The zone is a separate administrative structure designed for conducting business operations on preferential terms.

 


 

On 14 December 2010 pursuant to the decision of the Prime Minister the areas of the Kielce Technology Park were included in the ‘Starachowice’ Special Economic Zone. The Special Economic Zone is a combination of the needs of investors with the needs of the region and the city of Kielce. An entrepreneur conducting its business in the SEZ is primarily provided tax incentives. An additional benefit is the ability to locate the business in a specially prepared and developed area.

The presence of entrepreneurs in the special economic zone provide tangible benefits and privileges, which include:

  • tax exemption (CIT or PIT);
  • property fully prepared for investment in a competitive price;
  • free assistance in completing the formalities related to the investment;
